Moving from the Italian town of Piacenza to the stages of New York, movie director Giorgio Arcelli dreams big. In 2009, he directed and released his feature film Principessa. Today, he lives in New York, where he is working on a new cinematic project that is inspired by the great Woody Allen. In the meantime, he is trying his hand with stand-up comedy in the Big Apple's local clubs.
Being a free spirit doesn't mean you have to renounce looking good at all times. While exploring New York City, Arcelli picked three different, yet equally functional and elegant styles from Tod's: the practical lace-up ankle boots in suede, featuring a light rubber outsole with embossed pebbles; the classy moccasins in suede with a penny bar; and the iconic Gommino driving shoes in nubuk with exposed hand-stitching –—an evergreen style available in a wide range of colours.
